Free Produce Giveaway

History

Revival of Life's Free Produce Giveaway is a community-driven initiative where donated produce is distributed to individuals and families in the community who are in need. This is Revival of Life's most notable outreach community event, where we collect fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products, grains, and pastries from donations provided by the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. On the giveaway day, participants are welcome to select the produce they need at no cost, promoting access to healthy food and supporting those facing food insecurity. Such events provide essential nourishment and foster community and mutual support among residents.

How It Works

Individuals who want to obtain free produce can arrive at 3914 Lee Rd, where our team is set up to assist them. Fill out our form and show your Driver's License or other form of ID. That's it! We will then have our team load your car for you with a premade package of assortments.

Things to know when coming for free produce:

  • This event takes place between 9 am and 11 am, or until we run out of food, so please come quickly and arrive early!

  • You do not need to get out of your car, as our team will handle the heavy lifting for you.

  • The amount of food you receive is based on your household size, yet feel free to ask for extra.

  • Please keep a clean and open area in your back seat/trunk for our team to place your free produce.

Statistics

Revival of Life's Free Produce Giveaway:

  • Served over 1,300 individuals, 29% were youth ages 0-17, and 20% were seniors ages 65+

  • Provided over 11,800 total meals

  • Reached individuals spanning 39 different zip code areas across 4 counties.

How to Get Involved

We appreciate all our volunteers and their assistance in serving the community during this event. If you would like to help, arrive 1-2 hours before to support with unloading the truck, packing boxes, delivering packages to cars, or cleaning up. Volunteering sign-up sheets and volunteering credit will be available to individuals.
