February Challenge

FEBRUARY FASTING: A SEASON OF SPIRITUAL RENEWAL

As we enter the month of February, we invite everyone to join in a collective season of fasting and prayer. This spiritual discipline will allow us to seek God's guidance, deepen our faith, and align our hearts with His will. Through this challenge, we will create space for reflection, repentance, and renewal, trusting that God will use this time to strengthen our community and empower us for His service.

The Challenge Guidelines

BIBLICAL READING
Read 1 chapter from the Book of James every day.
DIETARY RESTRICTIONS
No Junk Food or Deep Fried Foods
  • Not Allowed: Deep Fried, Candy, Sweets, Pastries, 

  • Allowed: Pan Seared/Air Fryer Cooked Meals,

No Carbonated Drinks
  • Not Allowed: Pop/Soda, Energy Drinks, Drinks with high sugar content

  • Allowed: Coffee, Tea, Milk, 100% Juice, Water

No Starches or Bread
  • Not Allowed: Bread, Rice, Pasta, Dough, Sugary Cereal, Barley, or any grain labeled "White" or "Wheat"

  • Allowed: Starchy Root Vegetables (Peas, Corn, Sweet Potatoes, etc.), Beans and Legumes, Whole Wheat Cereal, Oats/Oatmeal

  • Allowed: Potatoes** (Only if the starch is rinsed and removed from the potatoes - Click here to find out how)

EXCEPTION DATES

The Challenge will be taking place every day from February 3rd to February 28th, excluding the following days:

Super Bowl Sunday - Sunday, February 9th

Valentine's Day Weekend - Friday, February 14th to Sunday, February 16th
